NOTICE Jan 2009

The Jolly Porter changed hands at the end of January 2009, and there will be no more Jazz Club sessions unless/until an alternative venue can be found. The Club ran for some two and a half years which is not bad for a pub residency. Thanks to Claire, the landlady for supporting us, thanks to the regulars and everyone else who came to listen to the jazz and thanks to the many guest singers and instrumentalists who came and played for us in that time. There were some great moments and I will be keeping these photos up for a while at least. Pete.

NOTICE March 2010. At the request of the new landlord the club was re-launched in Feb 2010 but, after one, well-attended, session on Fri 26th Feb 2010 with the Pete Canter Quartet and guests Claire Hoinville (vocals) & James Shipway (guitar), they cancelled again.
