gig diary is usually up to date if you want to check my availability for
bookings. I am happy to do more than one engagement on the same day if times and
miles allow. I am able to get someone to deputise for me for my radio shows
which are also listed here.

Wed 16th June. Pete Canter's OCTOBER ENSEMBLE performing Sketches. First performed in the Exeter Vibraphonic Festival earlier this year and eliciting a great audience response Sketches is a continuously unfolding weave of contemporary jazz themes, film-score like soundscapes, funk and latin grooves and samples mixed from studio recordings and found sound. The October Ensemble will be augmented with extra strings for this performance and will feature Pete on tenor & soprano sax, a jazz rhythm section, 8 strings and 3 brass.
